Special Needs

Learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Deafness, and other similar difficulties, should not stop you from learning to drive.

It is however, very important you find the right driving instructor. My aim is to find a way that you learn, not the way that someone wants you to learn. Sometimes slight adjustments in the lesson plan can make a huge difference to your progress.

We offer both Manual and Automatic vehicles for tuition, which gives you a choice and flexibility.

At Target Tuition we can provide driving lessons to people with Special Needs:

Recently Keith Hepburn attended the Queen Elizabeth Foundation and undertook a 3 day course in 'Teaching People with Disabilities to Drive'.

The course focuses on providing driving instructors with the following key skills:

  • Disability Awareness
