NOT ALL VEHICLES ARE SUITABLE FOR DRIVING TESTS

The DVSA recently added the Smart ForTwo to the list of vehicles not suitable for the driving test. This has for a long time not been suitable for Driving Instructors Standard Checks as there is no space for the examiner to sit in the back. The Smart ForTwo joins the following vehicles which are not suitable for driving tests. BMW Mini convertible

  • Ford KA convertible

  • Smart Fortwo (2-door)

  • Toyota iQ

  • VW Beetle convertible
